Well, she had dealt with depression for a very long time. And her grandpa has passed away a week before she CTB, and they were very close.
However, she had started seeing Gerald Baltz, a NP who had taken her on as a patient & issued her prescriptions for drugs without providing "clear rationale for prescribed medications," And he allegedly failed to seek supervision for her when she was suicidal.
Quoting an article here
"We just exchanged numbers and he had a meltdown over it being unethical," Ryan texted a friend in April 2017, according to a legal document.
Three months later, Ryan took her own life. Her July 1, 2017, suicide at the age of 33 staggered her friends and family."
"Baltz is alleged to have engaged in an inappropriate, boundary-crossing relationship with Ryan while she was his patient, and then a sexual relationship with her while she was receiving treatment at the facility where he worked, according to a formal accusation filed against him with the nursing board in June 2020. The filing includes passages of text messages allegedly exchanged by Baltz and Ryan about their intimate encounters, and his instruction for her to delete the conversation."

For me, this will always be the most memorable suicide - a 29 year old baggage handler at Seattle airport steals an empty jet with no pilots license and no formal flight training, flies it around the mountains, pulls off a loop-the-loop and then deliberately nosedives it into an unpopulated island, obliterating himself and the plane in the process. No one else was hurt.

killdozer is also memorable. No one died but he took out the police station, the mayors house and the court house in a homemade bulletproof bulldozer
while cops pointlessly tried to detain him before suiciding. He was upset with how he was treated by the mayor before doing this.

A South Korean model and blogger who hung herself in Paris.

"As far back as 2007 she had written of angst, self-mutilation and suicide. In April of that year, she posted: "I am going to smash my face... My life as Daul was so miserable and lonely. Please join my loneliness in another world. I love you all. Daul", but later added, "KIDDING. I'm fine. Just tired."[2] She had also admitted that she self-harmed.[2] In October 2009 during New York Fashion Week she left a post on her blog describing herself as "mad depressed and overworked".[2] She became the ninth South Korean celebrity to die by suicide in 2009. Daul's last post included a song titled "I Go Deep" by Jim Rivers. The post was titled "Say Hi to Forever", and underneath she wrote "best track forever".[2] She took her own life shortly after. "

This is sickening that a psychiatrist took advantage like this.
