When I post a thread there are immeditately one or two guests not members that click on the thread. Though, when I click on members online I never can find out where the guests come from. There are way too many views on this forum to keep an overview. I was never able to catch one (a bot) of them.
At the front page of this forum. When you click on members online there is an overview of visitors. And it also shows bots.
Here are some bots and where they come from
Robot: Yandex, Trendiction, SEMRush, Bing, Applebot, Facebook, Baidu, Ahrefs (it is a AI marketing platform), Amazon, Internet archive, Google, Twitter (it is called Twitter not X on the list), Petal Search, Majestic-12 (Wait what is that? It has to do with conspiracy theories seemingly. The bot views my politicial thread "Will Putin soon invade a NATO country? How do you think would NATO react?") The conspiracy behind it is pretty interesting. I suspect there is a website with this name. Or did I just reveal proof for a secret government project/program? Lol.
I think I will end it here. I viewed a lot of page os the visitor page. There are probably even more though...
I think Yandex was most often found as a bot in my sample.
