Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Ew posting two trends asking for advice makes me looks so dumb (T_T) but anyway…

So here is thing. I have ordered my SN and it is on its way, plan to ctb this April or earlier, depends on the situation. And I live alone, the small studio I live is also the place I tend to ctb.
But, well, I am a foreigner who study and (sometimes) work in the US, and my family who live far far away knows no one who are American, also although I have made some friends after I came here, they have no idea about my mh or whatever. And I bet they won't feel strange if they haven't heard from me for one or two week.
That being said, I want to know how can I make sure there will be someone discover my body? I mean, although my family is really one of the biggest causes of everything, I still love them. Yay our humans are strange…I don't want them panicked for days and have no clues. I want to minimize the damage I will bring to them.
Also, I want to know, would my family be charged for—I don't know if it is the right word but—messing up the studio? I'm in MA btw.
Any suggestions are welcome…sorry I just like to plan everything ahead.

Did any of your family "co-sign" the lease on your apartment? If not, no, they would not be liable. If there's still time remaining on your lease, the landlord will probably be able to keep your security deposit. If the landlord is a real prick, they could try to come after your estate in court for remaining rent, but if you have nothing (bank account, car, etc), it wouldn't be worth it to them. Are you planning to leave a big mess? If you have friends that check up on you from time to time, or if you don't show up in class or at work, eventually someone is going to initiate a search for you and you'll be discovered. I wouldn't think it would take very long. Also, your body is going to start stinking after several days and that will alert neighbors.
