I am 25 and it blows my mind how people can just go to a job they hate, working 5 days a week for 30-40 years.
Life would be different if we worked to actually build something meaningful. I always thought about how it would be nice to live in a small village, it may not have first world luxuries but at least my work would feel meaningful. In todays society we are all owned by huge corporations who do not give a fuck about you. The work if it be retail or a 6 figure position, you are still owned. You have to work 5 days a week, you get a few vacation days a year and can't escape the cage for long. its a sad part of reality. This is one of the main reasons I am going to CTB. I refused to be owned like a pawn and for what? What do you get in the end? Old age and regret. Most people use distractions to cope with this sad reality but even those are not enough for me anymore. I see through it all and refuse to be a slave. People will say, they are NOT slaves.... When you go to a job 5 days a week, most of what you make goes to housing, food, transport, and whatever is left if any is for entertainment to make yourself feel better I say that is fucking slavery! You are stuck in a certain location for the majority of your life, I just can't. I refuse to be a slave for 50 years just to die anyway.
