I'm always dragging my friends back and I can't do anything about it. They're getting better — getting into relationships, making friends actually trying their best. I'm incredibly proud of them but I know I can't get there. My life's been fucked from the start and they'll never take me seriously. I'm just a background character in their lives and I came to accept it. I feel like I should just take a step back and observe from afar. I don't want to cause them any more harm.
