We all suffer in an endless simulation of emotions, war, famine, just pain. Maybe our CTBs are the way we choose to break free from it. (and damn good album I own)
I'm really glad I joined at the time I did , so I could have the few interactions and conversations with him I did... I can only imagine how much he meant to so many of you.

I'm glad you got that time. It is comforting to see how much he helped people and how people cared about him. I told him. Like so many, he didn't see it or feel it.

I only knew him for about a week or so, myself. We teamed up to take down a scammer, a day or two before he made this thread. He even PM'd me about it and we had a laugh. For a member that was only here for a short time, he sure as hell left quite the impression, helped many, was a master of funny/sarcastic gifs and was very knowledgeable. He's definitely one of the people you wished didn't CTB, but humanity lost others that we didn't wish to, like Robin Williams. At the very least, we keep their memories alive because as long as we do that, they are never truly gone.

The first message I wrote him was telling him I took down two scammers in his honor and I would try to fill his shoes. He never read it. I am still writing to him, keeping him up to date.
4:15. 9:15 where you were. I'm halfway through with this horrible day.

Stan I can say 99.9 percent it is definite. Only reason why I can't say 100 percent is because I haven't seen an obituary. However, knowing his circumstances, there may not be one.
We will keep his memory alive here and the newbies will learn who he was through his guide, so his legacy will live on.
I think that would be what he would have wanted. The people here were so very important to him.
Joy Division became New Order. But other than that? Damn, can't think of a case. And they changed the name. And changed from Punk to New Wave verging into what I'd call early Electronica, though fans of that would probably disagree with me. Was thinking of them b/c Blue Monday popped up in the Wonder Woman 84 trailers, of all places.
Certainly the post-Jim Morrison Doors Other Voices was one of cringiest albums I've ever heard.
Nothing to do with the above...Oddly, I also posted this song in another thread. My favorite Sinatra song. Can't see why a repost hurts anything.

I'm really going to miss Stan. He was an excellent contributor to this forum and he had a very good sense of humor. I also want to give a special thanks to @SinisterKid for putting Stan's SN guide in the list of resources. Rest in peace, Stan.

Day 3. I'm still here. It isn't my time yet as I was told. You weren't wrong before. I won't start doubting you now. May tomorrow be an easier day. I was tested today, but made it.

Morning.
8:30 here. Laid in bed. Feeling a little better today, or at this particular second. I will try to get something done before the crying starts again.
I am still here. I keep saying over and over the line you said The heart dies a slow death, shedding each hope like leaves until one day there are none. No hopes. Nothing remains.
Am I sad and in the phase of anger that you are gone? Yes. More than you will ever know. But your pain was greater than mine, and I loved you so much I was willing to let you go (even though I knew there was no way to stop Mr. Logical).
You being at peace and out of pain is more important than my own.
I am just learning how important you were to so many. I wish you knew. You hid your insecurities from the world with your sarcasm and wit, but I saw through it.
I am glad you were able to be your true self with me even if it was for a short time.
I will never know what happened to you, but as you said you are gone. It doesn't matter.
I hope you are at peace. It is not my time. For me, I will keep your memory alive and teach the newbies who Stan was.
Babbling over.
Really Stan? Really?
I just took my first shower since you left and this comes on the radio as I am crying in the shower? Thank You
