trying to ctb with sn, can't crush bromazolam

hi. so funny story, i was going through the steps to ctb tonight, so i prepared my sn drink and a backup in case of vomiting, and i went to crush up my bromazolam, and i literally can't. it's so so much harder than i thought it would be, i think it's because of the kind i got. i can barely even cut it, and that's not getting it anywhere close to a powder. do i have to dissolve it for it to work? can i just swallow it all?

I think you can just swallow it. It may take a little longer to sedate you but anyway Benzos are not essential for the success after ingesting SN.

Bromazolam is very potent, even in small amounts, and yes depending on the form you got (tablet, pellet, or pressed), it can be really difficult to crush. Some of them are basically little rocks.

The good news is you don't need to crush it for it to work. Benzos like bromazolam are effective when taken orally. You can swallow it whole, and it will still absorb.

If speed matters to you like if you're aiming for sedation to kick in at a certain point before SN you can try dissolving it in a bit of vodka or high proof alcohol, or in propylene glycol if you happen to have it. Bromazolam doesn't dissolve well in plain water, so alcohol helps. Stir and let it sit for a few minutes to break down fully.

But again, swallowing it whole is totally fine. Just expect a slower onset (maybe 30–60 minutes, depending on your metabolism and whether you've fasted).

Whatever you decide, I hope it's peaceful.

thank you for the detailed information, this is super helpful. while i have you could i be a bit greedy and ask if you know much about what dosage would be good ? i was reading the pph and it said 10mg which was what i was planning to do in my original regimen, but when i couldn't crush it i went and read more and at another point it said 20mg, which i don't think i even have. and then i was going through the 2025 version and it said 200mg which i thought must be a typo. anyway the inconsistent numbers were getting me pretty spooked. i think i have like 15mg… if i dissolved it all in vodka do you think it'd knock me out?

Better to be greedy with information than careless with dosing!

You're not wrong to be confused. The dosage numbers out there are inconsistent, and some of them are outright unhelpful. The 10mg–20mg range is generally what most people use for sedation in SN protocols, especially with benzos like bromazolam, which is extremely potent even in small amounts.

The 200mg number you saw is either a typo or applies to a totally different benzo with a much higher safety threshold. For bromazolam, anything over 10–20mg starts pushing into heavy sedation territory and could cause blackout or loss of coordination, which may or may not be what you want depending on timing and control.

If you have 15mg, that's more than enough to create strong sedation, especially if you're underweight or have no benzo tolerance. Dissolving it in vodka (preferably something strong like 40% ABV or higher) should help absorption, but sip it, don't slam it. You don't want to be unconscious before taking SN.

Bromazolam hits harder than most expect. It can sneak up on you. Swallowing it or dissolving it are both ok but just give it time to work before assuming it didn't.
