I would like some knowledge about this one, to get a full picture before anything:

- Would it be enough to just jump on the rails last second to clean CBT with the speed/strength of the train or should I lay on the rails?
- If laying would be best, is there any particular way to do it? Should I tie myself there somehow?
- I'm not sure abt this one but how much should I worry about cowcatchers?
- How much does speed/train type matter? Do trains slow near stops even if they don't stop? What's the ideal speed?

Thanks in advance...

I am so sorry, but I dint know the answers to your questions. However aged 14, I saw someone jump in front of a train that was just beginning to pull into the station - he died. I was part of a group of school children who were waiting to catch the train home after school and I don't think any of us ever got over that. When I am down and dissociated (strangely enough it is usually after I have dentist appointment), I usually end up going to a place where I can sit there and watch the trains go past and contemplate jumping - I go to different places, but for some strange reasons a visit to.the dentist often leads me to the trains.., But I have never seriously considered jumping as it always reminded me of that time I was 14 - none of the children who witnessed that day have ever really dealt with it..,

Well, that's your problem, not the person who died. If the op thinks that train is the only way he can face death, then go for it.

Yeah, if I had a wider choice I would've considered something else sooner... However I thought I could use some extra info here, ye-

I'd think you want to jump when it's at it's fastest so as much as it's often done at a station, I think if you could find a place where they train is at top speed and jump out suddenly, that would probably be best and you might not have people around that would be traumatized

So it's mostly about speed more than anything else, and positioning/movements aren't that important, right? The trains that stop at the station are of no use, but those that don't transit and stop there should have the highest speed/normal speed outside the stations,

After so much research and watching so many CTB videos, I have come to my personal conclusion that hanging is the best way out. It's easy , painless, doesn't make a mess and is almost 100% death rate. All the videos I watched, people lost consciousness in a few seconds, I was even jealous.

Well yeah, if I had any reliable tool and on top of that any physical capacity to pull it off... What I fear is that I might just create a disaster or waste hours on it for nothing to happen/mess up...

I don't know exactly what you meant by tools and physical condition. I've seen people kill themselves with a cable or a piece of cloth, so they can do the job.

My biggest fear is someone finding me in time or the rope breaking and me suffering brain damage. With the necessary care you can greatly reduce the chances of this happening.

My second method would be jumping, but I can't see myself doing that in a calm state. Only in an impulsive moment, like desperation, rage or when completely drugged.

You mentioned vids up, do you have any idea or source I could get them from to PM me or something? I swear I just can't locate my artery good enough, or maybe I'm not strong enough with my pressure while trying to test passing out... (I'm going to sleep now so if you respond I'll probably reply tomorrow)

I suggest you go down there and just sit near the track (if there's a place you can discreetly do so). Trains are SO MUCH bigger, louder and scarier up close than they appear from even a slight distance.
You can literally feel them coming. The grond shakes.
You have to have some enormous balls to do this.

I agree with you. These videos of other people hanging gave me hope that I could do it too. In fact, it is cruel that such sites exist, but in my case personally, it gave me relief.
