Help How should I go about it?

Hey, everyone. So I'm fairly young, right? How should I go about ctb? My ideal method would be a firearm (I live in the U.S. so you know it wouldn't be a terrible ordeal to procure one) but it's also currently not possible to get one for a couple reasons. I have guitar cord in my room and have researched partial hanging, which I could do, but to me that's terrifying. With a firearm I'd feel so much more confident. Far less to set up, far less chance of failure. Ideas? Do I wait, hang myself or some other method now?

Edit- I also have train tracks right next to my house, like real 30 second walk kinda close. It is an option, but that's also scary, and I'd prefer not to affect an innocent driver.

Firearm is probably the most painless and quickest option but even if you get a gun, i read that a lot of people get too scared to actually pull the trigger. If you're too scared to hang you could try Co2. Its quite easy and reliable, i would do it if i had a place to do so

I was thinking of doing something like that... How would I go about it? And I think that for a firearm I wouldn't be as scared to do it because it's easy and easy to disconnect from, like walking down and laying on train tracks or stringing up rope and tying a noose is something that requires real focus and consciousness, whereas with a firearm all you really have to do is lift a finger. I feel less scared when I think about shooting myself than hanging myself, but I wouldn't know as I've never actually stared down a gun before. Again though- best way to use inert gas?

Getting shot in the head is only painless if you die instantly. Sometimes you bleed out.

I feel confident enough that I'd be able to get an immediately lethal shot, so I'm not too worried about that.

Theres a quide to most of the popular methods. When I tried co2 i bought a cheap charcoal burner then i set it on inside a tent. Failed bc i didn't tape the tent correctly and there was too much airflow. Im sure there are easier ways tho lol
