I think maybe I'm overthinking it. I should just go to CVS and get regular duct tape.... I'm just worried about fucking it up, that's all. I still have a little of my weather proof left, but I know it's not enough to seal that whole entrance. This is a crucial moment in the process, so I am concerned.

Thank you all <3 I am only concerned of failure right now.. I've done everything right up to this point, and then I fucked up and forgot to get the rest of the tape... I have to think about this and decide exactly what I want to do.. Worse comes to worse, I'll have to wait another 3.5 hours until the other store opens to get my tape. Then I'd have to wait another 5 to go back to sleep... It would be during the day... I mean my dad isn't going to find this gas chamber for quite a bit...but I don't want to push my luck.. I guess maybe as long as regular duct tape was used all OCD-like then it would withstand the gas... It's just that the front is the least sealed part, so that I can get in and out.... I want to make sure it's done right

Don't know what would practically work best, but follow your gut..
I don't know what it looks like and how secure you'll be with regular tape - I haven't bought weather proof myself, actually. But maybe that's a mistake.
Just hope you'll be ok, maybe write down a list, another step by step from where you're at now and keep it with you so no distractions may disturb you, remember Murphy's law..
Yet, I can't give advice, just my perspective.
Whatever you do, I wish you a safe and secure day - inside or outside of the tent.

Thanks guys. I've decided to wait to get the tape. The store will open in an hour and a half...so not much more time to wait. Just gotta walk down there. After that, I'll decide whether or not I want to just ctb during the day after my dad leaves for work.....or if I seriously want to wait until it gets dark again. I'd obviously rather do it during the day when he leaves, but, hey....if any of you remember, there was actually a thread recently that was asking this question..."would you rather do it during night or day?" lol well I've always said night, but idk, now that the tent is all set and ready I might feel differently...it's just a matter of going to sleep. Also don't worry too much about the duct tape, it should be fine if you go a little ocd with it. Honestly I drink so much that I reach a certain point where I simply just lose consciousness. I can always feel when it's about to happen. I'll be drinking while the charcoal is burning down, and once I go in the tent with it I honestly think I might knock out as soon as my head hits the pillow.

Well I mean I'll make sure to piss before I go in the tent...but after that, I'll be too unconscious. I'm honestly just such an alcoholic that I just know how my body works. I'm able to hold it for hours. Sometimes I even wake up feeling like I have to piss, and my mind is just like, "NO, go back to sleep." And then I fall asleep again. And that's after many hours. Generally speaking, once I'm knocked out cold...…..I'm out. The only time I actually get up is if I feel like I'm going to explode...and that takes quite some time.

Why is that? Lol I know it takes a lot of preparation, but once you have it all set up, it's just a matter of going to sleep. CO has no smell, and your body is unable to even determine it from oxygen. You literally just feel like you're breathing air...…...and then you die. Co is deemed "the silent killer." I'm literally just gonna fall asleep and not wake up. Sounds like the perfect method to me. Hell, I've been dancing around methods for some time now. Nothing quite as silent and peaceful has crossed my attention....

You are very lucky. Honestly, the only reason I didn't do this sooner is because I was trying to get a cell phone. I've been having so much trouble... My father actually (unrelatedly) said that he would get me one. And then he let it go. I know he'd get me one if I really started asking him for it but I feel like an asshole. He's gonna find my body days later.... And I'm asking him for 80 dollars??? I might as well just die in silence... Shouldn't matter though... I'll pass out quickly... Fuck, guys, my dad found my gas chamber. I'm kind of freaking out. He hasn't said anything. I mean, I know he's understanding of my suicide, but this is pretty serious. Idk what might happen. He honestly might just let me kill myself, or he might call someone. Idk. I've been watching him for awhile. He's like a robot. He has a routine. He goes outside for the pool in the morning, but he rarely EVER goes in that shed. I literally JUST put this fucking thing in that shed for ONE fucking night. He woke up this morning and I saw him out the window walking near there, so I went outside and there was a trail of water leading from the pool right up to the door of the shed. Obviously he fucking went inside it for something. Idk what to do now. I'm worried. He definitely saw my gas chamber. And he honestly might even say fuck it and let me do it. But he gets in moods. He might get in a mood and snap, and call someone. Idk what to think. I'm worried. I was gonna do it today or tonight....like what the fuck. I JUST put it there. This is ridiculous.
