I'd recommend you just follow the amounts recommended in the two key resources. You don't need to reinvent the wheel here.

Why do they keep posting 71mg/KG.... it would work out to 3 grams for me and i've taken 2 with no major effects.

I do, however, wonder if 20 works for a 200lb man, how much could a 100lb female get away with? (Definitely not less than 10 I'm sure...)

No. if you're underweight use 15 grams, normal weight 20 grams, overweight 25 grams.

I understand your trepidation, this is my chosen method as well and I want to make this last decision as solid as possible. I wish some ethereal Kevorkian would materialize in my room and say "ze proper dose for you iss 18 grams, mmmkay?" (My ghost-Kevorkian has a German accent for some reason.) But in the end, Stan's method seems the best/most reliable/least complicated. I've settled on doing what @autumnal suggested, not overthinking it and just follow the plan laid down that's worked for so many others. Best of luck and best wishes ((hugs))
