• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

i know people CTB not just for one reason, but i was wondering if anyone had thoughts of CTB because of the fear of being publicly shamed and exposed for something they've done?

can be anything from an affair, hurting someone, a huge career mistake, a scandal or a crime - i was just thinking how whether this was a common feeling or if it's just me, and if so whether learning to care less what people might think (which is easier said than done) is gonna alleviate it...

i guess a lot of stems from how the press and people on social media cancel and shame people these days as if they are perfect. let those who are without sin cast the first stone...

Yes. There was one point in my life i was fearful for my life- not due to anything illegal, but due to... morally questionable actions done to myself, and sadly, another when i was younger. After having told many ex-partners about it, and having them all be okay with my past, it's become much more tolerable. But if it was released publicly? Yeah, CTB seems like a fair option outside of just thoughts for me.

Of course, it depends on the severity and your own moral standing. Some people can talk about others behind there backs and not think anything of it. Some feel intense guilt over doing so. Perspective, mainly.
