I completed all my paperwork at work before the deadline. And I was complimented for my empathy and compassion. :)

After a couple of week being unemployed I got offered two jobs last week, should start in the new year .... wooop

I managed to go out for a walk (that wasn't just to the shops to buy food) for the first time in over a month.

I finally got the courage to ask for help with learning how to ride a bike, since it would be easier to get a job if I did.
I asked my caretaker and he was really really nice about it, I got scared on the bike and we only made a few rounds, but he didnt laugh and gave me a lot of helpful tips.
And it made me feel satisfied because I finally did something and I dont feel as useless.

Made Spaghetti Carbonara. Wasn't bad.

Had to substitute some ingredients so, sorry Italians.

Started working as a teacher (for only some hours) again. (I used to be a 100% NEET so, this is amazing lol)

I finally bit the bullet yesterday and contacted a lawyer to initiate a law suit against the docs that ruined my life. Little do they know that I am well aware of what they did as I have worked in medicine for a very long time. I also started the process to get disability, food stamps, and other help via the government that I can.

Mostly though, I was completely and utterly shocked that a friend that I have chatted with on the internet keeps donating to the account I set up asking for help. I set it up asking for help for me (cause I am headed on the fast track to homelessness). But I am also asking for help because I want to get information out there on how devastating traumatic brain injuries are, and to help my friend and her family who are also about to become homeless. I really do not like asking for help this way.. I don't know why it just bugs me. Maybe cause I was always the one who helped everyone else and when I needed it - they just walked away or hurt me further, so asking for help is like asking for pain (or at least it used to be).

In any case, my plan was to take my life at my own hands before I hit homelessness, because I have no doubts I will not survive on the streets (age, injuries, and gender).

He just gave me 2 more months of life.

(I also wanted to say that in large part my starting to try and get some help instead of just giving up is because of you all here, and how much kindness you shown despite all of your own troubles) - Thank you!

I've been doing a scorched earth approach to my anxiety and taking many different supplements and exercising. I had a bad day today but it's nothing compared to my bad day a few weeks ago. probably a 40% reduction. I hope this is an improvement. Also I've slept for 3ish hours last night without taking any sleeping medication for once. it's been a few months since i last did that.

I've been fortunate to have some very good people to talk to, things have been really bad. I also managed to clean myself a bit today. When it's so difficult to even do basic things, this is a very positive thing indeed.... :/
