positive things that happened to you this week?

I found this guy on YouTube with videos that don't go above, say, 30 views. We exchanged a few sarcastic-turned-polite and humourous comments and in the end, the conversation was very wholesome. It probably wasn't a big deal to him, but I feel like I'm going to treasure that exchange for months. I'm so lonely that this is the best thing that happened to me this month.

I cleaned my room I guess...I'm gonna see if I can go buy a chair this weekend so I can actually feel more comfortable playing games. Right now I always have my switch on my desk while I'm sitting on my bed which is horrible for my posture because I'm tall and my bed is also tall......

I bought said chair on Saturday. I was able to find a decent gaming chair for a pretty good price and just today I finished building it which means I can finally play games in comfort and with decent posture.

I got my GED and then signed up for college. Honestly, both very weird things to do when planning to CTB but... this means I'm not a NEET anymore!

I finally accepted that I am a loser, man-child, failure, incompetent or whatever word you want to use. My stress levels dropped something fierce and I was practically skipping down the street with energy despite not having had any food or coffee. I know now how lucky I am to not get completely wiped out by the strong or even by the normal. It's a great time for people like me to live if we have a kind family. If our family is not kind, then I suppose it would be fucking awful :(

I have a week-long break from work. That means I'll only suffer anxiety, not stress.

I got ill today but remembered that I have a fully stocked medicine box that I prepared according to the "How to be Alone Forever" survivalist tips. It really saved me. Feels good. I can do it. I'm gonna make it. I'm ready for anything.

Eh it was okay. The Smash reveal was cool even though I've never played any Xenoblade game. I'm only interested in buying maybe three of the games they announced.

New guy came to work the night shift at my workplace. Had two quality conversations with him. Forgot about myself for a moment. It was nice.

I was able to cook salmon without it being undercooked or overcooked. I also managed to increase the rep on my weight routine after almost a year off and now starting over from square one.

I have got out of the house every day this week. This is a positive for me as I normally prefer to hide away at home and have to check no one is in my street before I leave due to anxiety. I've also challenged myself to only listen to uplifting music. (Not sure how long it will last though. Only the second day in..)

I like snow. We have lots of it right now. I took a walk. Everything was so still, not a breath of wind. Nothing stirred. It was eerie. As motionless as a painting. The snow was dazzling me, blinding me.

This is a bit silly, but I finally got to shop at my local Trader Joe's after about 6 months. Usually there's a line around the block due to COVID, but today I was running a quick errand nearby and there was no line. TJ's was one of my favorite shops and I got bummed out not being able to shop there for a long time.

Before the pandemic grocery shopping was my favorite solo activity, and I always cherished the time I spend inside the stores. Since last year, I've been mostly doing delivery and curbside pickup, and I've been cooped up in the apartment so this was such a big thing for me.

South Park announced they're doing another special in a few weeks. The last one was so good I actually cried a bit at one of the scenes so I'm even more excited.

I'm feeling a lot better physically and mentally and it's from mostly fruit and vegies and no sugar. I'm happy and planning some new things.

I've managed to follow my protocol and do some cleaning every day. It's not much, but it's something.
