Horray! I mostly just missed it because I came on here this morning to post about my walk in the woods.
I left at 5am and walked through the woods near my home in the dark. I didn't bring a torch, but I probably wouldn't have used one even if I did. I was slightly anxious, which is odd because I have walked these woods many times. I guess my head was in a weird place. I sang songs to the top of the hill to make myself feel better. The top of the hill opens up and there are no trees. It's very steep to the top so I was tired. I had a sit at one of two benches. Where I live is very wet all the time, so I picked the less muddy of the two benches. I set up and lit my stove, boiled some water, had a coffee and a cigarette. I sat for about 2 hours and watched the city across the lough with all its shining lights in the dark. There was a man that walked past, which was a little odd for that time of the night -- he also had an umbrella and was not out of breath, so I suppose he was from one of the farms. Maybe it was Woden. It started raining heavily at that point, so I decided it was time to leave. I went to the store but it was shut. It was a good time.
