my sn arrives next week, i am not sure if i should do it immediately or wait some more

SN is really stable, so you can wait if you aren't sure.

If you can't endure life anymore, you may want to do it soon, but if you simply know that you need to do it in some moment but you are still capable of living, you may want to wait until you feel it's the moment. In any case, that's something you need to decide by yourself.

I'd always wait if I wasn't totally sure and committed. Once you have the means you know that they are always available at your choice of timing. But, since it's a one way, no return choice it should always be your last one.
