Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

my friend's friend, let's call her A, she ctb'ed with a handgun yesterday and my friend feels awful.. while i dont know A personally, my friend does. upon further investigation realized A has been planning this for months and the help she got wasnt useful for her. shes 18+, is american, smokes and drinks. even tho i dont know A i still feel bad for her, her family and friends.

i have no idea how to word this, death is such a serious topic but at the same time it's a blessing and an end to all suffering, but it'll give pain to the ones that love you, and even ones that dont know you

It's not exactly luck. It is very rare to be saved from a gunshot. I don't know where it comes from, but it's practically always lethal to the head, except for a small minority who mistake brains for make-up.

With the way some folks talk on this forum, you'd think a handgun (ANY handgun regardless of caliber) had a 90% failure rate, meanwhile even a .22 kills* people all the time (there was even a string of shootings where several FBI informants were killed with one).

* It's still a risky caliber and has a definite risk of failure, but it's definitely not like "you'd be able to walk off a .22 headshot with no issues" as it's often potrayed here.
