Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I want to be able to lucid dream so I can act on my suicidal and/or sh urges without actually doing it and risk all the shitty consequences irl, has anyone tried this? I don't know much about lucid dreaming but I'm scared it won't work or I'll get sleep paralysis or lose control of the dream or I won't be able to kill myself in it, etc. Whenever I've tried to lucid dream it never works anyway. I'm scared of all that stuff so idk what to do, does anyone have any tips?

My personal opinion is that lucid dreaming isn't even a thing. I know some buddhists/yogis etc. claim they can do it, i have a feeling it's just bs; no matter how much meditation they put in, their brain is just like any other brain, governed by physics, chemistry, biology and so on.

Idk, I feel like the idea of someone being able to control their own dreams isn't that insane. EVERYONE who claims to be able to lying is what seems more insane to me.

Well, i think it's insane; during sleep some parts of our brains are inactive; controlling those while one is asleep, it's not technically sleep anymore, maybe some state similar to being semi-conscious and imagining things...for example, one wakes up from their dream but don't open their eyes, they're still too heavy and feel sleepy and while in this state they imagine the next scene of their dream. Not sure if i make sense at all.
