Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.
This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

I'm a lawyer and a dentist.
Do you practice dental law?
Absolutely. But not legal dentistry. Hence my angst.
(I recall one study in which nurses followed a doctor's instructions even if they broke legal protocols.*)
*See? I told y'all I was a lawyer
I got the joke, hence adding if you practice dental law.
Mine is a high risk suicide occupation, I shouldn't say but some people here know.
Haha! I'm a suicide technique tester lol! Jus kidding! My first thought was, "What methods do you test? And how do you rate them for reliability?"
(Hope my humor didn't offend!)
Speech writer for Donald Trump ?Mine is a high risk for suicide occupation, I shouldn't say but some people here know.
Same. It was my passion.Until very recently I was a paramedic.
What exactly is a low level fraudster that doesn't involve ripping individuals off?not really a job but for a while i was a low level/skill fraudster - i never ripped any person off but still wasn't the best thing to do,
Credit cards, credit for in-store items, dud cheques, bank loans. You could say the businesses profits were harmed, it was all big banks. Not the proudest times of my life. What exactly is a low level fraudster that doesn't involve ripping individuals off?
You're only messing up your own financial future credit file then...Credit cards, credit for in-store items, dud cheques, bank loans. You could say the businesses profits were harmed, it was all big banks. Not the proudest times of my life.
Thank you for sharing. Very interesting, though a bit misleading as men are more likely to complete an attempt, but it is not known whether more men or women attempt suicide (or it's not addressed in this data set).
Also couldn't help but notice the patriarchal influence in that men were addressed before women throughout the article. Nursing is dominated by females, who are in a hierarchical field in which doctors, a profession dominated by males, have superiority. (I recall one study in which nurses followed a doctor's instructions even if they broke legal protocols.*)

No I never did any identity theft, even back then during my wreckless years I would have never done that. I messed up my own credit record and once that was messed up I changed minor details about myself so i could get around my bad credit, so although I wasn't using someone else's details I wasn't actually using mine either. You're only messing up your own financial future credit file then...
unless it involves using identity theft in which case one shouldn't be proud, quite the opposite, but if it's all in your name not hurting anyone.
