That's good pal that the consequences weren't too bad. Thanks for reply.No I never did any identity theft, even back then during my wreckless years I would have never done that. I messed up my own credit record and once that was messed up I changed minor details about myself so i could get around my bad credit, so although I wasn't using someone else's details I wasn't actually using mine either.
I eventually got arrested and bailed, I then paid back literally every penny I had while i was on bail which was multiple 1000s to the banks. For whatever reason when i answered bail they never charged me and just gave me a caution, may be the banks/police seen I had tried to make amends and that I had no previous. Getting arrested and locked up scared me and that was the end of my fraud days, about 24 years ago now.
