• Hey Guest,

We will never comply with any of OFCOM's demands or any other nations censorious demands for that matter. We will only follow the laws of the land of which our server is located, which is the US.

Any demands for censorship or requests to comply with the law outside of the US will be promptly ignored.

No foreign laws or pressure will make us comply with anti-censorship laws and we will protect the speech of our members, regardless of where they might live in the world. If that means being blocked in the UK, so be it. We would advise that any UK member gets a VPN to browse the site, or use TOR.

However, today, we stand up these these governments that want to bully or censor this website.

Fuck OFCOM, and fuck any media organization or group that think it's cool or fun to stalk or bully people that suffering in this world.

Edit: We also wanted to address the veiled threats made against a staff member in the UK by the BBC in the news today. We are undeterred by any threats, intimination, by the BBC or by any other groups dedicated to doxxing and harassing our staff and members. Journalists from the BBC, CTV, Kansas Star, Daily Mail and many other outlets have continuiously ignored the fact that many of the people that they're interviewing (such as @leelfc84 on Twitter/X) and propping up are the same people posting addresses of staff members and our founders on social media. We show them proof of this and they ignore it and don't address it.They're all just as evil as each other, and should be treated accordingly. They do not care about the safety of our staff members, founders, or administrators, or even members, so why would they care about you?

Now that we have your attention, journalists, will you ever address this? You've given these evil people interviews, and free press.

The entirety of Red Vox's album Kerosene, I've always came back to it in dark times of my life:

Some of Aphex Twin's ambient works capture the feeling of isolation really well, they resonate with me on an emotional level.

Hey, I don't know if this is the right area, but since it's already about something very negative I'm using the Suicide Discussion Area. I hope this is okay, otherwise it would be nice if an admin or something could move it (or delete it if necessary).
I didn't find anything suitable with the search either.

So I'm looking for really depressive music.
I don't just want your favorite songs or something like in the megathread. But really just something really depressive/suicidal.
I'm not looking for songs that aren't depressing/suicidal but have meaning for you.
Preferably not just something sad or melancholic but something really depressive/suicidal. The songs really have to contain the pain of the world, the pain that I feel deep inside me.

I want to find myself in the song so that my emotions, the deep pain, get an expression.
Do you have any suggestions for me?

Not all have been added by me. But there are some good ones on there.

If you like metal or can handle screamed vocals, there's a whole genre like this. It's called DSBM, depressive suicidal black metal. My favorite band in the genre is Hypothermia. Their music isn't just sad, it's dismally hopeless.

Joy Division . Pretty much anything on their Closer album. Their lead singer and song writer hung himself in 1980.

Usually, when people think of music, they have a style in mind.
But if this is not that important, then:

I looooove Woods of Ypres. Thanks a lot for sharing!

OP, you should look into depressive suicidal black metal, it might be exactly what you're looking for. A few examples:

Thank you all <3
It looks like I was looking for something exactly like "DSBM" or whatever it's called.
I kind of like the cries/screams of despair and pain'.

Of course, that doesn't mean that other suggestions were worse or even bad.
Every suggestion has a right to exist and even songs outside of 'DBSM' are still very beautiful and trigger something in me emotionally.

So thank you all very much for all the suggestions.
You are welcome to make further suggestions if you like, no matter from which genre or whatever.
Because even if one or the other song doesn't suit or help me, it can still help or please other people here.
