I want to feel something

I really wish i had friendships and real connections with people. I'm tired of just having people come and go and I know this sounds so cheesy but I really want to get married some day. I feel so lonely and degraded by the people surrounding me and it's really making my suicidal thoughts worse I don't think I'll ever be better.

Also I want to celebrate my 1 year mark of being clean, I feel like any minor problem will make me relapse.

I feel you about wanting to feel something and wanting friendships. I also feel this way very much too. For the past few weeks I've just been very numb. I wish I could feel something again.

noooo yeah relationships nowadays r so artificial, everyone acts too sheltered to try to cultivate any meaningful connections. i guess that's why we're here. bleh. congrats on 1 yr of being clean! :D

Congrats on being clean! And i know how you feel, i don't think it's cheesy, i'd love to get married too. The loneliness kills me every day and it will be the end of me, all i can do in the meanwhile is just make up scenarios in my head.
