Glad you're back. So are you staying with us or do you want to leave?
I can't leave until winter. I guess I'm still going to post here rarely due to boredom, but not too much. Don't expect me to be as active as I was before.

I got addicted to this forum and I wanted to try my best to keep myself away from it or at least limit my time spent on it.

Yea, you've started to look like a troll and instigator (no offense!) with too much of a free time. Have some fun offline and come back when you're ready.. :}

Info on optimizing the whole blood choke thingy

By means of continuous wave doppler the effect of two choke holds (Carotid sleeper, Nami-juji-jime) on the carotid and vertebral arteries was investigated. For both choke holds, which are characterized by pressure on lateral parts of the neck, we found an obstruction up to a complete stop of flow. The degree of obstruction depended on the direction of force. The vertebral artery can be compressed between the subclavian artery and the foramina transversaria, therefore it was most effective to press on the lower neck. Tensing the neck muscles can reduce the effect of choking.

Any more inputs on optimizing this? To go out fast. Width of rope/choking agent, placement, knot position... Seems to be a lot of differing opinions reading through this thread and other resources

Im gonna try using the doorknob for partial on the other side of the door, but i have some questions.
How do i tie the rope to the doorknob? What kind of knot should i use?
I have a rope thats safe working load is 55kg and i have 90kg. Is it gonna work or should i get another rope?
As soon as im ready im gonna close the door and go for it but what if the door opens itself after some time? Is it better to do it a different way?

Thanks

My final thought when jumping high enough would be "I know this will kill me."

My final thought when hanging, "I hope no one walks in too soon." The uncertainty would make my final moments Hell.
There remains the possibility of overdosing on benzos and vodka while lying at the edge of a fatal precipice. At some point you are likely to move around enough to take the drop in a state of being unaware what is happening.

I need certainty. That ambiguity wouldn't work

I know what you mean. I have considered this method myself, with something between my back and the wall/railings meaning that the only way to move is forward when you lose consciousness. At worst, one wakes up drugged and still on the ledge, but it's not the certainty you require. From my experience i moved around quite a lot during the period of apparent unconsciousness, enough to remove the rope and take down the sign i put up warning others, and had no recollection of it whatsoever.

Basically you want to die like this guy?
3rEu6SA.jpg

If it worked for him, it will work for you (the arteries need only 3 kg to be compressed)

Dignified deaths seems the most unreliable and messy nasty ones the most reliable. If you can get the position of the rope in the correct place, suspension hanging would seem one of the better compromises, unless you have access to hard to access drugs.

You removed the rope while you were unconscious?

I'm confused. How else could you mean it, aside from literally? lol the word "remove" is pretty literal.

I suppose i must have been conscious physically to the extent that i was able to move around but utterly unconscious of what i was doing mentally. When i came to i was convinced that someone must have found me and done what i had done, but as there were no emergency services in the area i assume it was me who did these things. Strange things appear to happen in such a condition. Perhaps it was a passer by at 4am who decided to take these actions and didn't want to get involved and left me to it. I'd taken 150mg of morphine sulphate and 50mg diazepam, alcohol etc i'm amazed it was possible to achieve all this myself. The rope was tight as i went to sleep, it seems the will to live is strong even when knocked out.

Honestly i have no idea how it happened, maybe grappling with the thing and somehow loosening it.It seemed my mind wanted to die but not my body. This is perhaps why in this forum we are constantly engaging in discussions about how to best go about it. As for the removal issue, i suppose i must have found a way of removing it, as just convulsing without the use of my hands would have been less than effective.

Wow that's unbelievable. I thought once we got to pass out phase we wouldn't feel anything anymore and the hard part was over. I didn't realize you could get the rope off but I guess our unconscious is pretty strong. Did you have any after effects from it?

.I felt elated because of the morphine, the drugs caused me to crash my car in a ditch trying to drive home due to slow reactions, at which point i was able to find a farmer to drag the car out and be mobile again. But i used all my meds and am going to have to visit the doc for more tranquillisers. I should add that a serious amount of medication might be necessary to prevent an unconscious body from reacting in such a way that inhibits the process, unless you have the sheer willpower to overcome the conscious desire to die. This is why people choose jumping or trains i suppose.

I agree with Shay, it's unbelievable. Once you pass out and the carotid compression continues you never regain consciousness, nor do you feel anything (unconscious), nor can you take any action in freeing yourself (unconscious).
But in contrast to Shay, I believe for sure unconsciousness is not strong enough "to free you", there is no directed action when unconscious.
My only explanation (apart from being saved by someone, broken ligature, etc.) would be that convulsions were intense and therefor you slipped out of the noose, coincidentally.
The other explanation, for me, would only be, you were not unconsious yet, but drowsy by the valium and the other drugs you ingested!

Finally, the link to lostallhope: it's crap. Lots of false info.
Sorry!

For me there is no willpower to overcome consciousness. Unconsciousness happens, when done right. Very quickly. You cannot control it.
More than 70% worldwide choose hanging.
It does work.

I was going to hang myself while lying down as it seemed foolproof. Various hanging videos make the convulsions simply look like slow movements but now I'm scared. How violent could these spasms get, like could I suddenly wake up during? why is this so hard:eh:

Once you're out for the count you won't feel any of it. Imagine how much you move around in your sleep every night and don't notice, it's pretty much the same.

That's fine, I'm just scared of my head raising or me somehow moving and waking up with brain damage

If you make your rope out of strong enough material, and can insure that you won't be found for a while, you should be fine. Well, not fine. Dead.

Just do it.
Like his T-shirt says..

That was really quick. Why did his face first get dark and then light again?
Yes seemed too quick to me. Wonder if that's real. I'm starting to think some of videos posted aren't real

Yes I knew that was real. Sorry didn't think it was the same guy bc the video I watched of him seemed different where it was him talking and it wasn't so quick. This must

yes I didn't read the title of the video. I know that the Swedish 21 year old was real. Didn't think this was the same ... sorry
