0. I think across all platforms everywhere. Not even sure what would prompt me to ignore someone. Certainly wouldn't be disagreements. Probably constant spamming or something. But they'd usually get banned for that anyway.

I may have set a record with "Most Ignores." Probably have 150+. Would have more, but it's time consuming and half the time I forget there's that option. Have a low tolerance for content that I'm willing to entertain for personal reasons; and for the simple fact that nearly half the threads posted are just nonsensical, for lack of a better word. I weep for this next generation.

So reading though the comments here several people make some valid points, talking about how all opinions shape the site and whatnot. I almost felt guilty for having a few people on ignore. Im not sure how many, just a handful. But it's mainly incels I ignore. I find their comments extremely triggering and terrifying. As someone who was abused, I find comments degrading and dehumanizing women extremely terrifying. It always makes me think of Handmaids Tale, which I found way too traumatizing to even finish. I always think of how that's probably their ideal society and it makes me panic, especially considering the state of politics here in America right now.
I still find this site to be the only positive place on the internet. I have deleted all social media, I couldnt stomach all the hate. This is the only place I've found that is supportive and kind 99% of the time.

I have one person ignored because they were insulting and judging my deceased father who was a kind and caring man, merely to support their generalisations that all medical staff were arrogant bad people who only cared about money, and they persisted in insulting him when I protested.

a few, whether i see their posts or not doesnt change my life and i believe in tailoring your feeds. many people feel crappy enough, why feel worse when i can ignore them easier the same way id keep my space from some irl. whats funny though is i get curious so if theres a chain of replies i dont get ill end up looking anyways but i think flexibility is a good idea and irl i would like to be in the know regardless... maybe members could have the option to enable the switch to see blocked content? i might suggest it if people are interested in having less access to others like on other social medias.

I only have one person on ignore. I'm not terribly happy about it, but I think of not reading their comments & interacting with them as choosing the lesser of two evils. I put them on ignore a couple of weeks ago
