• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    šŸ‘‰ View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

If one doesn't find a way to ctb then they simply have no choice but to continue existing. It's just the way that things are. I hate every waking moment but sadly I'm still here, it's a curse to have the ability to exist.

At my lowest moments I look at my dog and think about the simple things that make her happy. Walks, car rides, or a ball invoke such happiness in her. This still reminds me to drop all the life-pressure and not take things so seriously. I also watch shows that I know will make me laugh. I love Schitt's Creek, especially the "fold in the cheese" scene. This helps loosen the heavy weight of depression in my chest. I also have a favorite oak tree that I hug. Might seem weird, but it helps me.

You have strength in your choices. Strength in knowing when it is the best time to CTB. You also have strength in remembering things around you that make you happy. Posting on here is a good practice. We all have ideas about what keeps us going. Asking is a good first step to learning.

Hope this helps.

When we reach that point, I don't know that we're actively pressing forward.

We haven't truly figured out a way to keep going. We just do it out of habit.

We have all the motions memorized so we can perform them without any thought.

Set alarm, brush teeth, open mail.

We turn into zombies in a sense. Aimlessly moving about the earth, just because.

Most of us are stuck here. Not choosing to endure this suffering, we are just kinda living our lives on auto pilot.

I suggest devoting your life to helping others. Getting a passion for something can preoccupy you and force you outside. Something like fitness or education/work would work too.

If your issues are emotional, reach out, even if it's to helplines, build connections.. if people know you want support and care they will try their best to support you.

I think about future prospects. But since I potentially have a difficult to diagnose terminal disease + debilitating skin disease around my joints and extremities, It seems I am doomed. The only logical thing to do is leave even though I really do not want to hurt my parents. I just hope that they are strong enough to endure the repercussions of my decision. To be fair we are going to suffer together one way or another, or I will suffer in silence while they live in an illusion so I don't think there's too much of a difference.

A day in the life

I would say having a pet and also enjoying small pleasures. My depression often kicks in hardest when I take myself out of the moment. There is also my pet who accepts me and loves me for who I am. My pet doesn't care about the world's opinion of me. I treat them the way I wished I would have been treated throughout life. Some days are just harder than others, and I just push through with hope that it will one day get better. If it doesn't one day get better, then that's okay. I'm sure the universe will be just fine when it's my time to cease to exist- I hope so at least :hihi:

I too have a pet. She is just the sweetest. It's easy to go to her when I'm feeling down. She's always up to cuddle.
