Oh yes, it would be amazing to find out I have a fast progressing deadly disease with no cure. Scary and painful but what a relief to know u only got like 6 months.
Sick and dying... Or even doctors enough drugs to keep you from caring? semi comfortable? Stoned!! and then the realization... HEY!!! There are a bunch of pills!
...I can die from these!!!

I would hate to die from cancer! Slowly awaiting death whilst being really ill? Definitely not.

Anyway...it's still impossible to stop doubting, go thru with it... But at least I could find a sympathetic doctor & I could get help in Oregon... assisted

It would be nice if life force (for lack of a better descriptor) could be traded. I would give it to someone who wanted to live. I can die, they can live.
I have wondered, always.... why, why would you take someone away who is loved and wants to livee when I'd gladly donate every organ

Every morning....realization....my God...cannot stand it
I Don't remember writing this?? I woke up to "the people" (who share my DNA) throwing my things away into a dumpster...it was a blitz attack! 8 against one. emptying the house in which I cared for my Mother since 2000 and left my home (as it slowly fell apart) for the past 8 years which they will also toss... While it's impossible for me to defend/ take care of myself... confronted me with this, told me with no notice, I had a stroke and went blind in my right eye (no pity)... Just disgust. hard to protect yourself when you're told to rest and hoping your sight will return. not NICE

YES. For years I have hoped to die but by something other than my own hand. Would like to CTB with Nitro/bag and have someone else clear/remove it all for me but not sure how to accomplish this. It's the only way I think I could do it - so that my family and friends don't suffer as much.

hmm, having watched way too many horrible clips from movies, including clips from final destination movies on places like youtube...i'm more inclined to say no because i don't want to tempt fate. stupid as that may sound you may think, and i'm an atheist nowadays even...but still. i just, yeah...don't really want to answer. sheepish or stupid as that may sound.
i suppose i just want something painless, but isn't that just like saying the same thing about. yeah.

OH! That's brilliant! That movie would be perfect!! Slipping on a bandaid, & grabbing onto a hot toaster which yanks the cord out of the wall & wraps around your neck. as you struggle too untangle it, your nail breaks and lodges I your neck...your jugular.pounding as you try to untangle the toaster almost successful, & then your dog comes to eat the bread that fell out of the toaster. Thou trip over him and fall face first into your hairy best friend and slowly suffocate.

You wake up in the hospital 30 minutes later. Not a scratch but gagging on a hairball. Maybe nevermind

Oh yes, it would be much simpler than what I'm planning. Being hit by lightning, being taken hostage and killed, having a heart attack...

Wish we had gun laws like in the US, btw. I'd be long gone if it was the case.

Yeah, constantly. Wake in the morning, world slides into focus and it's a punch in the gut. The only thing stitching me together is cowardice and I'd be very grateful for an external intervention.
Waking up to reality is the worst

Yes, I sometimes morbidly wish that I could be hospitalised with some kind of terminal illness, maxed out on painkillers and then eased in the 'next world' with the simple increase of a morphine dosage. It can happen, it does happen. Death can be so peaceful when it's controlled. That, to me, is the great shame of the times we live in. We force people to keep on living against their will (often in great pain, physical or mental) when we have the means to peacefully and painlessly end their lives. I hope and pray that that will change one day.

I feel so overwhelmed at times, I wish something happens to me to kill me. When I come across any death in news or anywhere I always wish it was me. I feel it's very ironic that people who wish to live are taken away untimely and who want to end it , have to do so much for it.

I have often wished that I had died in a bicycle accident I had when I was 13 years old, I rode right through a stop sign into a main road and T-boned an oncoming car. I awoke 3 days later with a concussion, stitches and an arm broken in two places. If I had been a second earlier through that stop sign I could have avoided all of the shit that has followed in my life since then.

All the time. I see horrible events on the tv and wish I had been there. I don't often go out but when I do, I wish someone would just drive into me or stab me etc. That would all be too easy, unfortunately.

I completely agree, I honestly wish one could go to the corner drug store and buy N by showing ID and signing a waiver.

All the responses from those saying oh I wish I had an illness is really not helping those of us who have it and live in debilitating physical and emotional pain everyday. The very reason why we're here on this site.
