Do you guys get worse too when holidays like Christmas or birthday etc ... are approaching?

I would like to know how many of you like me get worse when holidays or special days like birthday are approaching ... for example with the approach of Christmas for a few days I have been really bad, my suicidal thoughts are very powerful because I am tired of spending the usual Christmas alone crying ... Christmas reminds me of my suffering every time and I promised myself I would never want to try this pain again every fucking time ... yet here I am again ... I'm afraid of this Christmas ,I am tired...my will of suicide is very high!to which of you does the same thing happen?

I too try to organize myself and do something nice (cook themed sweets and dress pretty) but in one way or another it always ends in tragedy and tears

It's weird because the tears aren't even mine - I try so hard to please everyone and for some reason, they're still upset. I just kind of sit there in silence and hate myself.

I'm sorry that no one notices it and is grateful to you for your efforts to make the holidays more enjoyable ... you don't deserve it

Thank you, you deserve beautiful holidays, too :) I'm hosting with just my siblings and I this year because our parents are busy. Hopefully it'll be much better :)

The one two punch of seasonal depression and family drama/money issues is the worst during the holidays, definitely influenced my decision to join the forum though I'm still unsure of plans.

yes in fact ... the depressive crises that strike me before periods like Christmas or birthday are so strong that I am organizing myself for the second time for ctb

Yes Christmas is awful, New Years is worse but for me the worst is my birthday. I will probably kill myself on my birthday it can be my Happy Death Day. Seems fitting.

I thought the same thing!My birthday is absolutly the day more painful for me too
