Venting Celebrating the day that you were forced into existence

Birthdays. The day that you were brought into this cruel world, whether you consented to it or not. The day that brings you one year closer to death. Now you must suffer the experience of life, just because your parents decided to have you (or not). Birthdays, either you love them or hate them (or just find them to be meh).

I wrote this because mine is in two days and made me think about all of this randomly.

Never understood birthdays. Stopped celebrating many years ago.
Maybe they should congratulate the mothers or something instead if they really want to.

I'd personally never see this existence of unnecessary suffering as something to celebrate rather I see it as a tragedy how this existence that just caused suffering all for the sake of it and problems there were never a need for was even imposed at all. More than anything I wish I was never forced to suffer in this cruel, torturous existence, non-existence is all I could hope for, I just want to never suffer ever again.

I stopped celebrating ages ago. Its commemorating a tragedy in my opinion. Like one of the other members have said , maybe they should congratulate the parents on that one time per year. Useless as shit day to celebrate

Yeah. I feel the same. Why on earth would I celebrate the start of all my problems? Not that I tend to 'mark' holidays with celebrations- not Christmas, New Years or Birthdays. Most of the time, they are just another ordinary day. Somehow knowing they're there makes me more miserable somehow though.
