• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I wonder how my loved ones will remember me. I'm at a wedding right now just trying to get drunk off my ass and thinking about if they'll think about me singing in the car with them hours before. I should know this answer but only few of them people in my life even know I'm having a severe major depressive episode right now anyways. Fuck it. I'm horrible.

It isn't like it could ever be our concern what happens in this world after we are gone, we all have to die and lose everything someday, I believe that eventually we very likely won't even exist in the memories of those who continue to stay here, it's just the reality.

If you're concerned about what others may think of you after you CTB, write all of them a note and tell them what they mean to you, if they do actually mean anything to you. Eventually, the living forget about the dead, either because they die themselves or, maybe, they get overwhelming health issues of their own they have to deal with. It's the nature of this place we call earth. Nothing is permanent, everything is temporary. All people's graves will, eventually, lose all visitors, once anyone who knows that person die themselves. We're all just passing through.

Something that I find comfort in is the idea that no matter how traumatic, for the most part humans are very resilient people. They will move on. Yes, they may remember fond things about you but time heals all wounds and eventually people will be okay with it.

I'm to the point where I just don't care what they think. They'll be sad, and probably need therapy, but that won't be my concern.
