you know you're ready when you wonder if you can wait until your set date. today i've been wondering, can i wait? can i stand to keep pretending to be happy for much longer?

Had the same exact thought pop up in my mind as well today. It's super tempting when you have the things you need to ctb. But it's better to wait until you know there is no chance of anyone rescuing you.

I don't know if I would go for a set date. I'm moody and typically have better success with unplanned events

I think ctb has to be a really conscious decision. I have a lot of mood swings, I change my mind every time, so I am just waiting for the time I have absolutely no hope. There is still a little bit of it. I also want to make sure my family is going to be alright, but I am working on it.
Pretending to be happy consumes all of my strength. Pretending to try, when I am totally sure I don't want to get better.

Life is not fair. I am really confused and I don't know if what I wrote has something to do with your post, but just wanted to let it out.

Totally! I had SN in my jungle cart for months. Finally bought it right before they took it away. I've been suicidal for decades but something just switched and became different a few months ago. I never had a plan like I do now. Now I'm very much ready and just can't wait for the next opportunity.

I just believe that it's preferable finally leaving this world when the time feels right rather than trying to stick to a specific date set in advance. If one has a method plan in which they feel confident that will succeed then they can just exit when they feel ready to. If I had a desirable method plan then I would leave as soon as I can really, if I was able to access N I would be long, long gone from this hellish world at this point.

When the time and weather are fine for me to leave, i won't have any doubts. I have no rush in the meantime more than wanting to blow my head up a few times a day.
