I would still be depressed but not to the point of considering ctb.
Money would definitely help get rid of most of my problems.
I know this question has been asked before and looking at the answers made me think if my decision to ctb is too impulsive? since most people in that thread stated that they'd still consider ctb. I'm aware that money doesn't make suicidal ideation go away and everyone navigates differently through situations like these. I'm still curious to know about what you guys think

How rich are we talking?

If i never had to work again i'd probably postpone it for a good while. I wouldn't be happy still, but i guess i could just live my life as a hermit enjoying simple things in life, food, computer games, films to take my mind off of other problems.

Yes. People who have money and fame are not walking around in a state of perpetual ecstasy.

I'm not rich, but I do pretty well and doubled my salary earlier this year. It certainly alleviated some material anxiety, providing a short-lived joy.

Many of the avenues to despair are born internally.

Yes I'd still wanna ctb if I was a billionaire and was in chronic pain like i am now. Makes no difference

Yes I would still ctb but maybe not as urgent. Money can't buy my regrets. Money can't change the fact that I'm living a life under expectations.
