Winter is always a hard time for me. When I was in a relationship it was nice, because I got to spend time with my partner staying warm inside, but in general it sucks.
My living situation is not good right now and I highly doubt that will change anytime in the next 3 years, and outside of work I usually spend a lot of time outside going for rides on my motorcycle, going to parks, going on walks, etc., to try and be away from home... but the winter here is cold as shit (often going below -30C/-22F), and I'm not excited for it. You can't do shit outside without freezing your ass off and it doesn't feel worth the physical discomfort to try and go one walks.
It's not at that point, yet. Usually we get our coldest in December - February where I live. But it's getting to that point where each day it's around or below 10C/50F, which, at least for me, is the point where I can't really comfortably be outside in just a t-shirt anymore, and riding my motorcycle (even with a sweater and jacket) is starting to get pretty uncomfortable. I'm trying to look on the bright side and think maybe winter will give me opportunity to do some of my old indoor hobbies, but to be honest I'm just not excited to be stuck inside with my current living situation.
For work as well, I have to go outside a lot. It's cold as shit and can suck being outside for prolonged periods of time.
