Oh okay, sounds soon if your dad is coming and checking the sand bag though. I hope the rope will hold same with the anchor. I was more worried about the anchor than the rope. I never heard that it needs to be 10 times and would have no clue where to find it so I hope it works. I watched so many videos and some people use scarves that look very thin, sari's, very thin rope so I hope it's good.

For critical life-support applications they use ropes that have working load limit 10 times more than person weight so that it doesn't snap 100%, because otherwise that person will fall and damage himself or die. People doing it with scarves may be lucky so if we want to remove any chance of failure we should make the setup more solid than that, to not rely on luck. To be honest my rope is a fucking overkill, 3300 kg breaking strength rope with EN1891 type A certificate which means that it was tested for life-safety situations and it knots well and will not break 100%.
I only really have access to the things available on Uber Eats Home Depot/Lowe's which makes it harder for me to get a variety of rope. I do see warnings that when there is a knot the rope can be weaker but this was the best I found that could be delivered. I found another one also 12 mm but working load of 250 which is less or 244 lb. Every other rope is also thinner. I absolutely understand removing chance of failure and want to be as safe with this as possible to be one, down, out and done quick painless and easy but this is the best rope I could get my hands on, originally I was going to use a bathrobe string I was so desperate. I felt so good and confident and now I'm worrying. I can't tell if we're overthinking it because I have watched so many videos posted here and their ropes all seems so thin that I thought mine being a good more than double my weight limit was going to be fine now I'm stressed

Maybe this didn't show up on uber because I was searching for rope not dock line, idk it might just not be available for delivery for me. Is dock line at all comfortable compared to the other rope anyway? I'd assume it'd be stiffer and harder to use for a noose

Ok then, you can test is as much as you want to build confidence for the rope. The double overhand stoppers will make slipping almost impossible and the knots will not come undone or loosen so the only thing is that anchor and the rope should be able to hold your weight with all kinds of shaking and if so it's a good setup and I hope you will not choke and suffocate to death and instead just feel like its a leap into a void like sleeping or fainting.

I tried pulling down with my weight and shaking more than I think I can even do when I actually thrash since the rope is partially against a wall not just fully free hanging and it seems to hold. I also hope it will be a fainting and sleeping situation but I have time left to keep testing it for a bit

I have time before I try but thank you, I hope we can both find peace as painlessly as possible. Be careful practicing, I saw somewhere that a lot of successful fsh happen in practice not the real attempt, I assume the same can happen with just practice. I kind of want to practice again to see if I can have vision go dark at all since I only had tingly lips and hearing waver but I'm not ready for the trial to be the final right this second

Well that was just practice with pulling the rod down. This time I pulled it as much as I could despite the pain of rope pushing on the neck to see if i can make the vision completely dark and that just happened. I dont think that would end up in something terrible. Also I dont see any problem of practice becoming successful fsh, just worried of it becoming failed fsh.

You must be strong to get to that point using your arms and strength to go through the pain with your will.
Yeah I can see that, for me I worry about practice becoming successful due to my cats and rescheduling my messages to send earlier/later so family can come get them and they'll be okay and fed.

Yeah I dont have that problem as I dont live with pets and will not send any messages to anyone. Will just die without any explanations

Ah I see, do you plan to leave a note? Or just have your parent walk in one day and notice? Do you know how long it took you to get completely dark vision? Also was it painful or long to go from close to passing out to actual thrashing? Kind of odd that you noticed the thrashing but weren't unconscious, how was it? Were your legs tingly or just completely unresponsive?
