I'm thinking of ctb'ing in lebanon. I know that Royal Oak for example is good for ctb'ing in canada but what about lebanon can some one tell me which charcoal to use and do they sell it there in the winter ? Thanks

The RO charcoal states right on the bag "100% carbon". Maybe the charcoal in your country of Lebanon has something on it similar to that. That's what to look for. The best charcoal to use has no additives.

Most countries seem to have a couple different types of charcoal, specially «regular» and «premium». Should state it on the packaging if it's «premium» aka cleaner version or not and the price is also a good indicator, will typically be a little higher than just the «normal» quality ones.

Most charcoal here comes from either orange trees or oak trees (which is more expensive) and most of it is locally made by individuals or small family business without any additions or labeling and branding
