Don't be so hard on yourself. Our mind is tricky when we look into the past with all the information we have now. There was no way for you to have these insights back then, you're not stupid, as much as we can feel ourselves like being. I know the pain is unavoidable, but you don't have to carry all the burden you're carrying right now.
