Was I too damned trusting, she never tried to sell me anything, it was all just general chit chat and stuff and talking about another user who was apparently in same area. I've just come on to read all this.

I'm shocked and devastated. I've been in pm with Rachel74 constantly since I returned to ss in august. I got to know her and we became friends. Or at least I thought we did.

I thought I was good at spotting inconsistencies online and I didn't see any from her. Some up and down behavior but I assumed that was the bpd.

I confess, colour me niave but I'm really hurt. If she is a scammer (and from what I see here it looks likely ) then I'm appalled at her behaviour to befriend people in such an emotional position. She supported me. Now I'm devastated.

A part of me still hopes that she was genuine and her behaviour was part of the bpd.

If she was a scammer then she was a good one. I know you can't trust anyone online but my instincts told me she was genuine.

Now I don't know what to think and I'm questioning all the compassion I've been shown on here. I felt low before. Now...

I'm sure it was quite a hit. I know it is easier said than done, But please don't question everything here - there is real compassion and people who care. A real support system.

I think everyone is bit shocked at this. I certainly was. I recall seeing her name in posts, but never really paid much mind until I stumbled on a thread where she was involved a discussion about N & making arrangements with someone. I remember in the thread (I think) some user called another user their guardian angel for providing them with n. It seemed strange but I was happy that things seemingly worked. I still felt it was odd tho. Something seemed off. Guess I was unfortunately right. Truly Sorry to anyone who got deceived & lost money.

Legit N is very difficult to acquire - Rachel was able to scam so many people because a lot of us are vulnerable and we just want out of this hellhole very quickly. That makes it hard for a lot of us to think rationally. Seriously, fuck her and I'm glad she's exposed. Good freaking riddance.

That's a common goading tactic to make you let your guard down. I'd know - I've been doing this sort of shit for years. Never defend truly awful people. They don't deserve that courtesy.

For the last couple of years, I was "kind" to a lot of people outside of SS because I wanted to use them for my projects. I couldn't care LESS about their lives, or if they're struggling. All the "comfort" I provided to them was all fake. Not real. I only did it so that they'd think I actually cared, and hence, be inclined to continue providing their services.

I quit doing that because I am spending my final moments here. There's gotta be some good things that I could do before I'm gone.
