Could be that this product/prototype is so indicative of the sickness in society that makes it completely intolerable to begin with, and suicidal people don't need the reminder.

Though the peaceful meaning can be added, just like euthanasia methods added to traditional suicide, probably not in this first version as the creator imagined, but this one is thought provoking ...
