I was considering starting a new thread, but realized I ought to keep it here:

Who among us has decided not to ctb?

Do we have any awareness of members who have climbed out of the pit and, to our cheers, lurched back to their feet and staggered onward? I don't want to jinx anyone's attempt to survive, but it'd be nice to hear anything resembling optimism for those resigning themselves to the other choice. This is a pro-choice site, after all.

Sometimes I do wonder what happens when we 'lose' too many well-known or 'high-ranking' members on SS. The longer we're here and frequent, our ranks and 'scores' go up. Likes, messages received, most posts. Etc.

I suppose i prefer to be active but with a low-rank. I don't want the publicity *aww shucks*.

Plus we also loose a great deal of wisdom and interpersonal skills in the users who leave.

At least their threads remain, about the lost wisdom part.
