Hello all, I wonder if anyone remembers me...

I have recently attempted a ctb; however it was unsuccessful, and I am left physically disabled.

What I did was jump off a bridge, I landed on my feet on concrete...

I need a better method for the future, a safe and peaceful method. Currently I'm thinking CO but getting the required bits and pieces is difficult when you're in a wheelchair.

I'm so sorry to hear that. This is the scariest part of attempting ctb for me. As for another method, maybe try sn if you can get ahold of the supplies.

You probably jumped not high enough. How long did you stay in a psychiatric hospital after the attempt?

Yeah I didn't jump from the highest point, thing is I don't remember doing it, which is really strange. I just remember walking back off the highest point after deciding not to do it.

At the highest point, the bridge is pretty high.

The itchen bridge in Southampton, England.

It's been 4 and a half months since I've been in hospital, I'm still in hospital, and it doesn't look like I'm getting out anytime soon.

Yeah failure is a bitch, especially with all these assholes that work in the health industry (ambulances and mental health workers etc.). I'm looking at the sn megathread but there isn't enough information, where can I find a detailed guide for the method?

28 meters can be deadly, but its not garuanteed deadly. 50 meters is most of the time deadly. And 100 meters on hard ground is always deadly.

Thank you for the information. Thing is the bridge was the only accessable place to ctb. Other taller buildings need special access.

Out of everything thats out there thats accesible to me jumping is the most sure fire way (spending as little as possible). Place that ive picked out 246ft so should be able to do the dead.

Hi brother, thanks for having the courage to come here and share your experience with us.
The things that took you to that place and beyond must have been unbearable and to have survived must have hurt you both mentally and physically in a way we cannot understand.
I wish you peace brother. I hope you can make a recovery in body and spirit.
I hope the dark places in your life can be controlled and the pain is over for you.
Good luck friend

The doctors here are a bunch of fucking assholes. They keep me in and make a living off my suffering. They are a bunch of retarded nerds that's all. They act autistic and behave abnormally, yet they label me as the mentally ill. Fuck this man.

Maybe we could be partners. I'll pm you ☺. Landing on head will probably be unpredictable, as you never know how you'll act during freefall.

Edit: I'm trying to pm you but it's not letting me, please send me a pm if you're interested ☺️!

I hope this isn't out of line, but you poor, brave man. My heart breaks for you; your situation sounds absolutely awful. I wish I could come and sit with you and talk. Hospital is an awful place to be. Are you still in a rehab setting or a psych ward? You mentioned having a 1:1 constant observations nurse - is that still happening? If they ease off that, the night-night method might be feasible.

Jumped off the bridge and landed on the concrete? And without any recollection how did you wind up at the jumping spot?
That's uncanny.

When I was a paramedic, you see people survive truly astonishing circumstances. Modern medicine is really good at treating trauma-induced injuries. As long as the brain stem is functional, the view of modern medicine is that there is something worth saving, regardless of quality of life. That's how you end up with people in vegetative states on life support.

I can't wait for euthanasia to become more accessible for people. Not that it compares to what @ningaman151 is going through, but when I woke up in ICU after an overdose, the overwhelming feeling of 'fuck. I survived' is horrible. I feel like in situations like that you should be asked if you'd like to access assisted euthanasia. Now I live with short term memory loss and treatment resistant depression.

My heart goes out to you, @ningaman151
