• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So I reached out to trauma therapists outside the country I currently reside in, because there are none with the modalities I need that are free.

I had a 15 minute with one which I wrote about in a previous thread.

Now, the other one that promised to get back to me after checking whether she can accept me as an international client from where I live, didn't get back. It's been 2 weeks almost.

I only wanted one session and to just tell her a few things and regrets that I've.

I wrote in the meantime to other therapists focused on personality disorders in my city and they never replied.

I guess they don't want to deal with me. πŸ˜•

They have long lists of clients or potential clients. Been to many therapists. Some straight up forget the date we had set or cancel it last minute. Then tell me to find someone else because my issues are too complex aka they don't have time for me.
just how the mental health system is. Not enough therapists for all the distress the system creates on people.
What I'm saying is don't take it personal.

It would've been nice for it to be this case. And I'm glad that you're getting some feedback. I wish she would've said: "I'm sorry, but I am unable to work with you. I wish you good luck in your search."ΒΉ instead of being fucking abandoned.

1: she alluded to not wanting to work with me when she asked: "aren't practitioners in your country?" πŸ™„πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ They're the fucking worst

Won't bother. If she didn't get back it's clear she doesn't care. And, for a client to send a follow up email to a therapist says a lot about that therapist's capacity to cope. I.e. not great. So it's pointless to do therapy with them anyways.

It's ok. A forensic psychologist got back to me. I might even get a session with him which is great as he works with sociopaths. Fingers crossed 🀞🏻 he'll work with me despite me being unhealthy due to me relapse and being triggered by anything all the time. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜¬πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ»

Have you been diagnosed as being a sociopath?
An incompetent therapist who had countertransference with me revealed it to me. She said anti-social/psychopath, but after I've researched it, I'm more of a sociopath. Takes a lot of abuse to make me hurt others, but it happens. πŸ™‚
