I don't live in the USA but I can't be the only one who truly wants to die even more seeing how transphobic the world has become especially America. It sends me into a panic just thinking about how many people would want me dead just for being trans. I guess I am just venting but I want trans ppl in America to know that they aren't alone <3 Hoping things get better

I understand that totally. I often feel like the whole world is against me when I see transphobia happen and feel despised for just existing. I would say as you are not in the USA is to just be ignorant of it and to avoid that kind of content as you can't do much about it and to get support from other trans people and allies to remind yourself you are not in the wrong for being trans. That's what I am doing as I already have enough problems to deal with on my own.

I'm not transgender but I can definitely see how America in general is for transgender individuals. We have some pockets that are more accepting but currently, as a whole, we're doing pretty poorly. With the current administration, I think it will likely get worse before it gets better, considering their view on transgenderism.

I mean, Trump literally removed transgender references on federal websites as well as currently implementing a transgender bathroom ban for all federal agencies.

As a fellow lgbt+ person, Trans people are the backbone of our fight, pride began with a trans woman (stonewall). The trans community are the ones who push the rest of us to live our truths since the beginning.
Unfortunately there's a bunch of dense assholes who cannot wrap their minds around people not looking, thinking and acting like them and think they can tell you how to live.

I completely understand you that's how I feel as well. I live in Germany and seeing what's happening in America and seeing how much support the far right party is getting just makes me so anxious. It's also really crushing to see how much transphobia I hear from people I speak to when they don't know I'm trans it's really hard to hold tears back.

I live in scandinavia so maybe I have an easier time - but I sort of do everything in my power to stay ignorant and seclude myself mentally from any form of transphobia I experience. It's hard to watch this unfold under the Trump administration. I have multiple trans friends so I can't just be blissfully ignorant. It seems like the world is forever destined to be founded on hate and bigotry whether its transphobia, racism, or homophobia. The world is so cruel it's hard to understand how anybody can be happy in this world.

I opted not to transition, and this is one of the reasons why. People are unkind, I do not want to be perceived, I simply want peace. Transitioning would have taken that peace away, taken away my ability to fade into the background, and painted me with eyes of judgement/hatred that I could not bear.

I hope things improve soon. The mindsets of people of late have been cruel.
