Thank you so much everyone <33 I just got my tent all set up. All I've got to do now is seal up the seams, and seal the entire outside with trash bags. My tent even comes with a waterproof cover! So the CO will actually be sealed five times! I was really hoping to have my cell phone.. I was going to document all this with photos so I could actually show you guys in case anyone wanted to do it. I couldn't get one, unfortunately. But within the next few hours I will make sure it will be sealed to perfection. I've got a big roll of weather-proof duct tape to make sure the gas doesn't loosen the tape. I'm going to use that to seal all seams inside the tent, along with any small holes that I see. Then I will be taking large, thick, outdoor-use trash bags and basically wrapping the entire outside of the tent. I will use duct tape along all edges to make sure they are securely sealed. I will then put the waterproof cover over the top, and then duct tape that as well. Once all is sealed, I have a large tarp that will be wrapped over the entire tent, and tucked under the edges. The tent will be placed inside of a shed.
I will make sure to place multiple signs that say "WARNING: CARBON MONOXIDE. CALL POLICE AND HAZMAT." I will place a sign on each layer of sheeting to ensure that no one impulsively tries to enter the tent. One sign on the tarp....if the tarp is removed, there will be another on the water-proof tent cover...if that is removed, another on the garbage bags.....if someone seriously gets that far, there will be one last sign on the actual tent. I think that is being very fair and cautious. If you seriously rip your way past all those signs...that's on you. I did more than enough to warn you.
Again, I wish I had my phone so I could show you all pictures of what I am doing, but I've done my best to describe it. I'm going to start that now. Then it is just a matter of waiting until tonight. All I've got to do is fall asleep with that charcoal, man. Dani isn't waking up. At least not here, and not like this.
