There might be ways to get a rough idea from photos if you could get a side view photo, plus something in that photo that you can know the rough size of, eg a car.
200 feet would probably be okay, although I would feel a lot better about 300 feet...

i could make 300 work if i really wanted to but i dont really care

yes, and yes to this and the natives point. though i care less about the french point, since they ate me up and spit me out just like everyone else

if its ok, lets talk about what do you want to achieve? what do you need? what do you like? is money the most important thing to you ( i guess not)? lets make some plans how your futer can change in a good way, lets make a plan how you can get mentaly help.

money is not the most important thing. if i have a place to stay or a network of friends, that is more than good enough. i dont want to impose on strangers at this point however, and i cannot afford a place to stay
