Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So, update.

The eviction situation has gotten worse, I've got until the 20th to move out, the council called and said they can only provide a shelter or hotel. I have my first important exams coming up next week which is when I'm going to be evicted. I don't know what to do. I'm not gonna do well in my exams because of this especially considering I'm most likely gonna have to give my cats away and leave behind most of my belongings.

Currently it seems like ctb is my best option but I fear that if it doesn't work I'll be in even deeper shit.

I don't know what's going to happen, I'm not leaving everything behind again.

I'm guessing you don't have any other support besides what the state can offer?

That's basically like me. I'm also going to college. I've been out of a job since about mid-January. Been trying to find a new one but it's been tough. I'm doing great in my main class. I've been slacking on my elective, though. I need to keep my grades up to get funding for going to school and to get loans so I have some money to live on. It's quite the cycle. One wrong move and I could be in your situation. I've been in a situation like yours. It does suck to abandon your stuff. It feels like every time I'm doing good something goes wrong and my mental health shit kicks in as well and makes the situation far worse.

How are things now? Are you in the UK?
If you are, get hold of the cats protection, they might be able to take your cats for you temporarily whilst you get your housing sorted out. Also, there are laws that have to be followed before an eviction can take place. Have you contacted Shelter?

Have you sorted out the eviction? That's good with the cats protection, I'm sure someone will help you. Make sure you get them chipped so you have proof of ownership for when you want them back.
You can get them chipped on the cats protection neuter and chips scheme if you're on a lower income.
