No, that's why I asked, I didn't understand how you could have done that, that would be dependent on your ISP/telecom company.I updated the browser. Is there a way to update the connection?
I'm just gonna have to take it to somebody. This is all over my head. No, that's why I asked, I didn't understand how you could have done that, that would be dependent on your ISP/telecom company.
What browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser?
What connection do you have: 3G, 4G, 5G? You could try changing it maybe...
Could it be your provider not giving a good enough signal in your area?
I have bad reception here because my house is solid stone. I've got sims from 3 companies to test instead, but my damn phone sim card tray is stuck so I've ordered a cheap new phone off ebay to use as a test model to see what gets the best reception.
Fair enough.I'm just gonna have to take it to somebody. This is all over my head.
Thanks for your help, though.
That could be it then. I think that's based on Chromium, Google Chrome's open source browser code. I've never used a bundled browser before.I'm using the Samsung browser that came with my phone.
I like your profile pic!! Bioshock is awesomeHey everyone!
Looks like we are in for another shitty Christmas...
I don't want to have a Merry Christmas
But I'm just a Grinch I guess.
That's a bugger. Is it an iPhone? The sim tray stuck one?No, that's why I asked, I didn't understand how you could have done that, that would be dependent on your ISP/telecom company.

No it's a Samsung. I've been quite violent with it too, using the extractor tool and a paperclip. It's only ever been open and shut the once and somehow it's seized. That's a bugger. Is it an iPhone? The sim tray stuck one?
Doesn't sound violent, that's same as we do here. Improvising - isn't it? Sounds like it may need a repair shop to look at it.No it's a Samsung. I've been quite violent with it too, using the extractor tool and a paperclip. It's only ever been open and shut the once and somehow it's seized.
I'm not capable of getting to the shop unfortunately. I'm okayish but not great.Doesn't sound violent, that's same as we do here. Improvising - isn't it? Sounds like it may need a repair shop to look at it.
How are you doing?
Lack of sleep you mean? Sorry to hear that. Wish I could help. If I was a neighbour I would.I'm not capable of getting to the shop unfortunately. I'm okayish but not great.
Would a local shop help you if you're housebound? Slightly different note - a chemist here helps housebound people.I'm not capable of getting to the shop unfortunately. I'm okayish but not great.
Oh DW, I'm not housebound, but I have a limited range due to health issues. The only reliable phone shop in the area is in the next town and public transport is out for me. It's fine, I'll figure it out.Would a local shop help you if you're housebound? Slightly different note - a chemist here helps housebound people.
Idea - Would a local phone repair shop help you out this way? If it means business for them when all around are going on line? Maybe a slim chance ..?
The first film was utterly amazing. It changed everything, sci-fi, Holywood, the entire genre. It was 30 years ahead of its time and told what was basically a western story in space. Couldn't fail. The special effects were breath taking, especially for a child in '77 and haven't really been beaten today, all these years later.Disney plus. I haven't seen it, either.
I loved Star Wars when I was a kid. I hate it now. The prequels ruined it for me. I really hoped Disney would save it, but they managed to make it worse. It makes me sad. Star Wars was such a huge part of my childhood in the 80s.

I so want to watch this now! Where do I watch this? It's bloody Netflix isn't it *sigh*
It was leftover mushrooms etc on toast. Saturday I get new food so use up all the old stuff.Okay dude. Just looking out for friends. I know the frustration, that's all. What is on your menu for dinner tonight? We're having fish cakes & cheese sauce with steamed veggies.
If we can stay awake long enough we will carry on with dvd Series 1 of The Bill (PC Tony Stamp just made his first uncredited appearance and Jim Carver is called "Jim Jim" by the welsh guy (somehow I am stuck in a welsh accent now ;) )

Aw crap I don't do all this on demand stuff. I have enough people watching me, fuck more subscriptions. Don't s'pose there is box set for us old codgers (and those who don't want out digital souls in the pockets of the media cooperations, at least anymore than they are already.)Did someone say Star Wars?
Get Disney+ right away. If you love Star Wars you will love The Mandalorian too. The hype is real. I saw the finale of season two yesterday and it blew my mind. That episode is quite possibly the best thing Star Wars I've seen since the original trilogy.
