Sounds amazing!
I love partying to good music and forgetting everything around me.
Wish I could've gotten over my fear of strangers in time and actually attended one.
I've only been to clubs and smaller parties.
I'll settle with an imaginary get-together/festival then :).
I don't feel comfortable around a lot of people too now, but for a festival I would go. One week of taking E and mdma and I would forget about this world for a week. The tickets are expensive also, like 600 dollars, and also you need to rent a caravan also with bathroom and all ice you arrive in Lol Angeles,.

Would I lose all my phone numbers, contacts?
Yes if they aren't backed up. If it's an Android phone, all your contacts and pictures should be backed up automatically to Google's cloud services. However, it's worth downloading a backup app on your phone and also backing up to your SD card. That info will be untouched when you reset your phone. You can always temporarily remove the SD card whilst you reset, just to be sure your backup won't be affected, then pop it back in to your reset phone.

So you don't camp there? Another thing that always put me off going to a festival was the whole sleeping situation.
600 bucks...wow...probably harder for someone from Europe to go there since you have add that to the traveling bill.

Never experienced "hard" drugs either. Man, I really feel like I missed out on so much stuff I could have done, haha.

Yeah 600 dollars, as soon as they open the sales the tickets are gone in like one hour. No tents, you have to have a caravan so you can shower and stuff. A lot of Europeans go there, loads of Europeans lemme show you how it looks from the air.

That's huge omg. Isn't it very hot there during the day?

Sleeping in your own caravan sounds way nicer than most tent options here in Europe (and having to share toilets).

Did you wear like special outfits as well? I think everyone always looks cool on those pictures.

Yeah you can dress up as normal, but most people come with this out of this world costumes, since the cars to well it's hard to describe, when you have time go and see a few videos on YouTube you'll get the picture. It's like being another word, much better than Tomorrowland. It's a bit warm during the day and chill at night. At the end we burn every down that's why it's called burning man.

Yes, social anxiety would kick in instantly. I'm living with general distrust of everyone except when high.

I found someone's bank card on the street! Called the bank and cancelled it. Posted some Christmas cards. Checked the back alleys for useful discarded stuff. Avoided the rain. Now I'm probably going to frustrate myself by webchatting with Microsoft support. :pfff: I tried to get help from Google but their support in non-existent.

I'm enjoying the cool weather (50F), drinking coffee, and packing up books to trade online.

What are you doing?
That sounds nice - it's 30F here at the moment, which is fine to me, but everyone else in the house is complaining about it. What kind of books are you trading? Is it part of a book club?

I'm sitting here in my room. Texting a friend, sipping coffee, trying to play a bit of Animal Crossing. I have the soft fairy lights/salt lamp on right now to try and calm me lol.

That was very kind of you to cancel the card. Are you going to give it to the bank, or try to find the person who dropped it? Referring back to that thread we posted on yesterday, I hope you used proper punctuation and grammar on your cards lmao. Ah, Microsoft support....good luck with that. Hope the person on the other end knows what they're doing and is polite.

What kind of things do you look for? Is it for your garden/yard?
Gotta go to work.
Wish I could stay home and play Fallout.
It's raining.
Ah, work... I hope that goes well for you and isn't too stressful.

I was told to just cut the card up. Shame, I used to carry fake/old cards in my mugger's wallet when I used to go out boozing.

I look for anything and everything that is of use. Furniture, plant pots, plants, timber to make stuff out of. I got a nice desk and a bedding cabinet and a funky hat stand recently. My whole garden is kitted out with other people's discarded stuff and rescued plants. It's a bit eclectic but kind of cool.

Oh and stones, lots of old dressed stone, dragged back and used to landscape the spare bit of land near the garages. There are loads of old bits of stone around here from collapsed Victorian buildings.

Oh, nice. :) I've never really read sci-fi books. Just the standard ones like Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and I am Legend. I hate to be that person, but the book is better than the movie - although the alternate ending was similar to the book, which I liked.

I love that book, as for movie I prefer the Vincent Price version called "The Last Man on Earth".

Now days I'm more into Horror, like Thomas Ligotti, Laird Barron, and Lovecraft, than hard SciFi.

Ah, I never knew that movie existed. I'm surprised Matheson helped write it but didn't like the result. The other authors sound interesting too, and of course Lovecraft is classic. Horror and sci-fi are nice to read, in my opinion, because they encourage you to take a step back and think about the human condition.

Atleast you come prepared with a extra pair of glasses. I feel like you're my action figure friend now, the way you sold that description. ::Pack comes with fully animated figure, and an extra set of glasses!::
