PLEASE kiss your kitties for me. They're so precious! My mom's oldest cat is a black cat too that I've practically known all my life. She's like 16 or 17 now though and is starting to move around a lot slower so I'm starting to worry she won't have much time left, but I'm trying to give her as much love as I can. Kitty on the left kinda looks like her sister that passed away a few years ago too! She was a sweet cat who was really talkative.

I only intended to clear a path to the back of my brother's garage so I could dump my full compost bin out of the way to ferment for the winter.
Three days later and I've hacked the crap out of the whole bank of weeds and now have a large area to plant. Annoyingly, it's poor well drained soul and in shade too, which will make for some very odd planting choices.
I need to remove the willow trees and the small oak sappling, dig it over, drag some rocks from the back field to revet and terrace it, use it as a dumping ground for spare soil and old compost, then start looking for plants that may come back there next spring.
All the green waste has been chopped up and deposited in the back field covered in leaf litter. It will slowly rot and provide habitat.
I have done three days solid work in the sun, well, only three hours a day with frequent breaks, not like I should be able to do, but trying.

Tbh after six months with less than one hour a night asleep I have noticed some memory problems and mixing up of words.

Oh no! That sounds so awful. I've been battling with insomnia recently, but I can't imagine 6 months. My body experiences such pain after just a few nights.

In an hour it's going to be my birthday. I'm looking forward to meeting my friends and family tomorrow, but also I'm sad because I've been planning my suicide since last year's birthday. I wanted to die on my birthday, but back then, I didn't have a reliable method and resources, and realistically, I won't have the chance to do it on my birthday. I was hanging around back then because something made me happy but I don't have the same kind of reason anymore. I wish I could just do it already, like a few months ago when I actually had the urge and the chance. Sigh I don't want tomorrow to come

I hate reading those comics made by artists right after they got over a bad mental health crisis and it starts out like "wow this seems familiar" but then it ends with a sappy happy ending like "wow i'm better now :) I can enjoy life again" like good for fucking you chief I'm glad you looked inside yourself and got your happy ending but not everyone is as lucky as you to just be able to pick yourself up and keep going.

Lol random memory. I once got stopped by the police in my car. PC Plod asked "Do you have anything in the vehicle or about your person that you shouldn't have?"
I replied: "well, I do have a very dubious collection of country CDs, does that count?"
I use to get stopped quite a bit.

That line is priceless! I really like old-school country, especially from the 1970s, but I'm not too fond of contemporary country. People usually have problems believing that I like country, or funk for that matter.

There is quite a bit of modern country that feels much more like old skool stuff. There also country rock and alt country as a counterpoint to the new country from the nineties. There's even some good country coming out of the UK these days.
