Venting The Manipulation Tactic Thread Helped me understand the relationship I had with my ex :)

My ex broke up with me all of a sudden last month even though I have a healthy relationship with him which then broke me so bad I started feeling suicidal. Mind you, he also broke up with me 2 days after I got S'A. So I was in severe depression to the point that I was going through psychosis.

Mind you he told me that he still want to be friends but he would then give me mix signals which didnt help at all. He would act like nothing happened which made me more crazy. I haven't been this vulnerable with someone so I was extremely devastated when he did this.

Long story short we are in on and off contact during the breakup and there hasn't been a day that I wasn't crying. I stumble upon the thread talking about manipulation tactic and I was shock that it actually describe the relationship between me and him all this time. I dont know but something in me just clicked and it snapped me out of my depressive state and I feel normal now? I looked on reddit google etc abt my relationship so I can get some clarity but somehow I got the clarity that I was looking for in this forum.

It happened in my college, I told him about it and at first he was being supportive then all of a sudden he just discarded me. He said hes aware how much itll hurt me but he still chose to break up with me when I was already at my lowest.

You're not alone here, we've all been through something traumatic. I won't claim to know what you've been through but I'm here for you if you need to vent.

Just think, the trash took itself out. You don't need a boyfriend who isn't going to support you when you're at your most vulnerable.

Thank youu :) I still kinda ish talk to I feel like its my form of SH LOL but at this point im just gonna be warm and nice for him til may 18 and if nothing change then ill stop :)

I wish I could give you a hug, you sound like you really need one (though I'm not sure you'd appreciate a random hug from a middle aged man you met on a place like SaSu).
