Suicidal ideation as an escape

Deep down do you think you are actually going to go through with it or are you using the idea of suicide simply as an escape from facing your real life? It's a question I often ask myself. I think I will eventually but I think it will require some sort of really bad life event to give me the necessary motivation.
For now I'm just using it as a crutch to cope with this shitty life, but I really would genuinely like to go through with it, it just takes a lot of encouragement.

I wonder, how exactly am i going to escape real world, with this idea or another. Everyday existence catches up with me the very moment i open my eyes in the morning and holds onto me till i close them in the evening, sometimes even invading dream world so even if subconsciously it was supposed to be some kind of defensive mechanism, it doesn't work as intended.
I know SN is the only way out. After knowing I could easily get SN, meaning I could end it once and for all if I can no longer cope.
Now this feeling is slowly creeping back in...
Except for my dog and family, I have ntg to live for.
