Story Sucide failed many times

From 2012 to 2015 i tried to sucide many times by putting a big blue plastic bag over my head and made sure I did not recieve any fresh oxygen. My plan was to to suffocate without struggling just breath in my carbon dioxide only but never succeed i don't know why. Once i even had the bag over me for more than 20 minutes but never went unconscious, i just suffered trying for fresh air. I think sucide failing happens a lot.

Try Nitrogen, there's no discomfort

It failed because it's a terrible method. Carbon dioxide will trigger your body into a panic every time. You need to use an inert gas to make you pass out.

You breathing most likely made enough air flow to bring in a little bit more. Also try anything but CO2 as it is the only thing our bodies really detect. "We don't feel the lack of oxygen, but the build up of CO2" -My father, former diving instructor.

I certainly do think that suicide failing happens a lot and it's what I fear and it just sounds so horrific to me failing, especially as in some cases it has lead to people ending up with permanent damage. Suicide really shouldn't be so difficult for us, we really shouldn't have to suffer so much in leaving behind a life that we never even asked for.

I'm sorry, the feeling one experiences after failing can be difficult to process. I tried many times and failed many times. Before I would get that feeling of hope, but now I only get disappointment. I couldn't be freed that night. I'll have to keep suffering..

I feel the same way it's like being stuck in a loop I just keep failing . At the end there is misery waiting for me.I have been sucidal more than a year is hurts that I am still alive right now.
